Strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

Posted on Monday 13 March 2006

It’s been over a week, and this post is not yet about couch surfing, moving, Mardi Gras, or the current St. Patty’s Season.
This post, like the soon-to-come posts about the last week+, falls into the “The More Things Change, The More They Stay The Same” Department.

Some of you may know of the unique relationship I have with the Exxon station at Lee Circle. If this is the case, or you just want a quick refresher on part of it, I would recommend that you read about Prechious.

So, it would seem that Prechious will not be returning. This saddens me. But as I discovered today, all is not lost. Behold, my receipt:

The receipt of the Beast

That’s right. The cashier, Vanity, rang me up for a total of $6.66. If I could properly express myself in words (well, in text), it would have to be this: \m/.

Every it seemed, would be allright.

No matter how much I hate this city, especially post-Katrina, I still love it even more.

    Thanks for that little vignette.
